BOEING HYDRAULIC POWER SYSTEM CONTROL BOEING DEVELOPMENTAL CENTER; SEATTLE, WASHINGTON
This project consists of the design of a PLC-based control system and a PC-based SCADA system for controlling eight hydraulic power units and miscellaneous instrumentation devices. The hydraulic power units supplied 26 hydraulic fatigue test frames. The system is separated into three individual hydraulic loops. Each loop could be monitored and controlled separately and independently from the other loops. Casne Engineering provided all software programming for the PLC system, SCADA system graphic screen development, Wonderware “script” programming for pump control and optimization, network setup and configuration programming, field check-out and startup assistance, programming documentation manuals, and operator and maintenance personnel training.
